The Brown Woof Inn was founded by Shery and Gary Alligood almost 15 years ago.  Shery was able to realize her lifelog dream of working with dogs full time, having grown up showing and training Afghan Hounds and German Sheperds.   The Brown Woof quickly grew to one of the most respected and consistently recommended boarding facilities in the area.  In 2001, Shery and Gary moved to Texas, leaving Tim Zeitz to manage the business.  Tim and his wife Tracie both also grew up in the dog show ring, and so share the same dedication and committment to dogs and cats that made the Brown Woof Inn the preferred pet care facility in our area. 

The Brown Woof Inn is a member in good standing of the Pet Care Services Association. 

We have two equally important goals; we want your pet to enjoy his stay with us, and we want you to be satisfied with the quality of care your pet receives.. 

Our Facility:

Our facility was constructed in the early 90's especially for boarding.  It is a block building with a coated concrete floor that is kept sanitary.  The building is fully air conditioned in the summer, and our in-floor heating system is extremely popular with our guests in the winter.  We have individual indoor-outdoor enclosures that on the inside are 5 feet long and either 4 feet or 5 feet wide.  Outdoor runs match the inside width, and are either 8 feet or 10 feet long.  Weather permitting, dogs can  move between the indoor and outdoor areas at will.  At other times, the dogs are let out four times a day.

Cats are kept in a seperate area from dogs in individual spacious pens.

Our facility is in back of the house, so when you visit, please drive past the house and park on the concrete parking area by the office door.  Please be careful as you drive by the house, we do live on the property and there are children about.

Rates:

Boarding:
Dogs:          $17.00 / day
Cats:           $10.00 / day

Rates are based on the number of nights your pet stays with us, with a minimum of one night, and a "check out" time of noon.  Pick up in the afternoon (or evenings on Sunday and Holidays) will result in the same charge as if your pick up was the following morning.  (A Saturday morning drop off and Sunday evening or Monday morning pick up would be a two day charge.)   Rates will be discounted for stays in excess of 30 days or multiple pets sharing facilities.
